Getting in the interwebs in my apartment has been such a headache. I think I’ll finally have it by the end of this week. At that point, I’ll rant about the whole process and post my logs from my first 3 weeks at Clarke Street. promise.

New Theme, New Promise

Nice and bright. Hopefully this theme can serve as perfect format for my project. And what project is that? you may ask. Well, as of 8/21 I am an Americorps VISTA volunteer. My goal is to write a weekly summary, every week during my year of service. Ideally I will be doing this Friday - but I’m going to give myself until Sunday night. Yes, I understand I’m almost two weeks behind - but this Labor Day weekend is for catching up.

VT adventure day 4

Natalie convinced me to stay and hang out in Middlebury today. I guess the Long Trail will still be there tomrrow. A stop at the farmer’s market and some quality pool time sounded better than walking 13 miles to the trailhead, anyway.
